Fight Night Round 4....

the blocking does seem pretty easy and useful, but when you forget all controls 5 mins after learning them it's kind of pointless. i think with a little more practice, say one more fight, i'll be able to take bearcat and jtrain down in 2 rounds or less. it seems like a solid game to me but then again i've nothing to compare it to so as far as i know it may be just like the tiger recycling.

From what I played last night, which included a couple of fights online, it seemed as the blocking was much better. I went against a guy that tried to spam the jabs and I blocked most of them and laid a couple of counters which took a lot out of him. Since he was throwing so many punches that didnt connect, his stamina took a dive and I was able to throw some combos for the knock out.

good to hear, i should be online this evening to start working on my guy. How does the online work with created boxers as to weight classes?

I would tell you that I am liking this one, but you wouldnt beleive me and the ambiguously gay duo would chime in as well:)

the only way i would disagree with you on this one is if you said it sucks. it seems to be a very solid game, i like it very much. it gives me a feeling i haven't had since the show as in, i ate up hours last night playing and didn't even realize it.

The game is great! I boxed with Tyson twice then tried to start a career or whatever and got knocked down in my first amateur fight and turned it off. I'm going to need to practice!

It's hard having to mount some semblance of a defense, which was not needed in the rest of the series, the flash knockdowns happen alot if you leave the chin open to an uppercut
