That's one positive I suppose.

We played a lot better than I expected and even though it sounds like fantasy land, I think we had a real shot to win that game had Maurer not gotten hurt. Losing Bituli hurt too. Not to mention we didn't have Tototootoototo in the first half.

I'm not into moral victories, but with the way this team started out this season, I'm happy with the way our guys competed out there. I thought Chaney drew up some nice plays for the offense that gave our players a chance to make plays.

Tim Jordan played hard and ran the ball well.

We also physically hurt them (not talking injuries) and they will feel this game for a while.

I thought the targeting call on Bituli was cheap.

I'm not sure what Bituli was supposed to do there? You have to dive head first. Was he supposed to go leg first, or just let him score?

Overall, I agree. Team played hard.
I disagree. I saw it and I thought we got away with it. Then the review came and I knew he was done.

The camera angle made it look like he lead with the head but he actually hit him with his shoulder

I'm with you on every statement

It’s painfully obvious how the offense is limited when JG is in vs Maurer. Truly believe we would have gone 7-5 or 8-4 with Maurer the whole year (assuming he’s healthy)

That's what's most exciting. These past two weeks this team has played more of a smash mouth football. We've run the ball well at times and made some big hits on defense.
They're sincerely getting better. If Maurer can stay healthy, if he's okay now, we can honestly have a chance in every game left.

I don't think there's any question we'd have two more wins right now, at least.

Can't believe you didn't mention penalties.

I’m done with the moral victories. Being a fan of this team brings nothing but agony.

This team has advanced in every way each week. Proud of the way they played. Maurer still in and better officiating makes this a much different game
