I recall what Rutgers did to Tennessee one year when Majors was the coach, If memory serves me correctly we lost 13-7 . But for the most part you are in a definite void.

I want to punch Rod Stewart in the face repeatedly and hit John Mayer with his guitar. I also find the Harry Potter films insufferable and have never understood how the Big Bang Theory was supposed to be funny.

My problem is with all the b!tchers and complainers who look at everything negative. Wait and see who is OC, how we play next year, and what CPF does as AD. None of y’all are Nostradumass. Just freaking wait. As John Wayne once said, all we have is optimism, if we don’t have that we don’t have sh!t.

It's a slow week on Vol activity...no recruiting news to speak of, no bowl game, no apparent news forthcoming on OC coach hire and Tennessee Tech is our "game of the week" for our beloved bball Vols, so figured we could celebrate Festivus, VN style, and take some time to "Air our Grievances". Mine are below...
1. Of all the football games we played, with a bowl game on the line, to come out and have a lackluster effort against in-state rival Vandy is at the top of my list.
2. Basketball writers taking turns ranking Duke, Gonzaga, Kansas as #1, choosing to leapfrog the Vols...in my opinion, because we aren't stacked with future NBA first rounders. Am sure Michigan has same disagreement w/ writers. But, hey, it's early, and if we keep handling our business, all that stuff doesn't really matter.
3. Minor annoyance... I live in NJ, so I listen to Knoxville sports talk on iHeart radio (sports animal), and the repeated deluge of commercials for Cordell, Cordell, Cordell divorce lawyers, tooth brushes, and Big O tires is almost enough to make me not listen...especially having to re-listen to them when the app kicks out and have to listen all over again when I go back on.

Hope everyone has a happy new years

I'm just glad you didn't say it was time for "Feats Of Strength".

(1) I think that the South Carolina game was what eliminated us from bowl game. Pruitt should have played Keller. O Line didn't give protection and Keller reads quickly and releases faster than JG. Could have won that game

(2) If we are rated at # 1, we can only fall with a loss to Ky. Florida or Auburn. If we are #1 and we get big wins, we stay put and won't move
Lets stay in striking distance and see what happens when Duke plays UNC etc.

Lebron James saying whatever he wants and getting away with it.
Crazy thing about what he said regarding the NBA owners could be murmured by anyone who works in a company young, old, black, white... who has a boss... yet he uses the spotlight he has to make it racial, disappointing for so many who look up to him, he could make substantial change to minimum wage, worker rights or equal pay but is complaining about how he and his multi-millionaire friends are treated?

1. We didn't beat SC.
2. We didn't beat Vandy.
3. Too many of us don't recognize the fact that this is a brand new staff who have never worked together, walking into a very difficult environment, and yet we expect great results from the first year. Unrealistic expectations and demands from fans is #4, I guess.

I love the whole Festivus idea. It needs to be an annual gig on VN.
