Fess up, how many turned it off after Georgia score?

Big time holding on Ga last TD... but the guy did a good job of hiding it.

I turned it off. Sad but true.

Then 30 mins later I get an alert from ESPN saying "Watch the Dobbs Hail Mary that won the game"

I was so pissed at myself after that.

When they scored I was standing there in disbelief. By the time the kickoff happened I was starting to come to and then we took the field and I told my wife we are going to have one shot. I said "We are gonna get a shot. Our chances are astronomical but we are going to get a shot to win." When Dobbs threw the ball I remember thinking to myself how pretty of a ball he threw then when Jennings came down with I went ape sh!t. Best part was the shock on the UGA fans faces.

Didn't turn it off because I felt so guilty about giving up on them during the Florida game. Plus they have been a second half team all year long. I figured we were going to lose but just keep sitting there. Then one of the greatest football plays I have ever seen happened right before my eyes. It was history in the making and it happened with my beloved Vols.

My wife and stepdaughter had finished shopping and walked in just as the UGA TD happened. Had to explain HOW such a thing could occur to my California born spouse and out of pure stubbornness I watched the end. My girls are learning to be LIFELONG Vol fans in a quick 4 seconds. :)

I had a funny feeling when Dobbs was just standing there all alone. I can't remember him ever looking so confident as he let go of a pass.

Seen the replay many times like all of you have and the last one I saw to me Dobbs didn't just throw it up to me he already knew Jennings was going to catch it never looked around never second guessed. This was no throw it up and hope tropical HM. Dobbs knew it.

I was streaming the game (currently deployed), the computer froze on me right before the play started, I figured nothing special had happened, so I bought up Volnation on my phone to see the meltdown, went into the game thread and started seeing all the posts that we won! I refreshed the page my computer and then saw the replay of the catch, my neighbor was pissed at me the next morning, he said I he couldn't sleep with all the yelling and cussing coming from my room, then me singing Rocky Top!

I have to admit, I changed the channel! Did not know we had won till I saw replay half an hour later, and I freaked out!!:rock::rock:

.

Same here....did not know we won until I started getting notifications on my phone about an hour later. I had started movie night with my family.

My son and I were watching together. After giving up the TD with 10 sec left we just sat there in shock griping about defensive backs slowing down on a go route.

I did tell him that the 15 yd celebration penalty could be big. I love it when I seem smart in front of him :)

I will always cherish the memory of us jumping around and celebrating together when Jennings caught that ball.

After witnessing the Miracle at South Bend in person, I never give up on games.

I was shocked that we couldn't get a 1st down on that last drive, then when GA started driving the ball I got a sick feeling. When he released the ball I just knew it was a TD because of TN luck the last few years. I had some gator fans in the room as we were at a huge get together of about 75 people. The Gator fans were laughing saying "the east isn't so tight anymore hahahaha" I was thinking this is going to be a long night. Then when Dobbs threw that ball and it was caught the place erupted and I was yelling back yea it's not so tight anymore. After being at the Florida game this year I have vowed not to turn it off or give up till the clock is at zero.

I did not turn tv off, but stormed outside, lit cigarette, took few puffs. Thought, "Not gonna do this 2 weeks in a row and miss a miracle. MUST HAVE FAITH". Put cigarette down, stormed back in and faced tv, arms crossed. Looked skyward, to my ceiling, said "Give me my damn miracle, Keith" (beloved VFL brother who died 2 yrs ago way too young). And then witnessed what we all did. Was utterly amazing . . . And know my brother was screaming Rocky Top in heaven! GO VOLS!

When Georgia scored, my brother, dad and I stood in silence. I wanted to cuss and kick stuff but we were at my brother's gf apartment so I withheld. When Jennings caught the pass, we all went crazy jumping and hugging and yelling. We almost knocked the TV off the wall, scared the kids etc. It was one of the biggest highs I've ever felt.

My 6 yr old daughter and I are still singing Rocky Top.

I did and went to Volnation to see how bad the CBJ trashing was going to be and saw a post "Hail Mary". Went back to TV when my sister called asking me if I could believe it all the while I was trying to play back the end of the game. Her husband went outside after GA score and heard them screaming inside the house. From now on, when that happens my wife and sister are calling it a BS moment. (My real initials)

I hit the pause button after they're TD. Sat there for about 10 minutes and my son came in screaming "Vols Win"!!!!!!!

I hit play and watched it out and was literally in tears.
Best cure for naussea I've found so far.

Dad left to go blow the leaves off the deck and mom was never watching to begin with. I, however, stayed by myself on the couch sulking until I was rebirthed with the JJ Tuddie and let out a roar to alert my dad.... we WON. :clapping:

I didn't turn it off, but I was composing a long text to a Bama acquaintance that had sent a taunting text when UGA scored. It was well thought out and filled with eloquent language. Jennings caught the ball and I danced around the room with my wife and kids. Then I picked my phone back up, deleted the aforementioned text and simply wrote "Suck it".

I didn't because I realize that anything can happen in football especially since we were only down 3 points. All we needed was to get a return into field goal range to force OT. But what actually ended up happening made me much happier than what I was expecting.

The idiot programmer at the local CBS station switched it to a game show, right after the Georgia TD -- that pissed me off even more -- then it came back on as soon as Georgia kicked off so luckily i saw the Vol TD live --- will have CBS linked from now on because of the incompetence at that station.
