Ferguson Riots

Supposed to have been GZ.

Zimmerman.

He's been lying low. Not that I blame him since one of these idiots would be out there for "retribution."

I'd be well armed and able to see anyone coming from a mile off. And have the ability to hit them starting at a half mile.

I just saw Daryl parks on Fox. One of the family's lawyers. He says (paraphrasing) "Well, we never said there wasn't a confrontation at the car, or blows exchanged, and maybe the gun went off, but.. ". and you know the rest.

Yes, sir, at first the family and their witnesses claimed exactly that. First, it was that the two kids ran and the officer started firing. Uh oh, not shot in the back. So then it's that the door "ricocheted" off of them and that made the officer mad. Uh oh, accounts say Brown was pushing the officer. So then it became, well, it looked like that but the officer reached alllll the way up and grabbed him by the neck and was pulling him in the car.

Uh oh, there are witnesses who are going to say Brown attacked the officer. And apparently medical records to support that.

And so now it's yes, he hit the officer. Yes, there may have been a struggle for the gun. But, ....

If I'm the officer's lawyer I am chomping at the bit to try the civil case.

The media has made it their goal to discredit anybody associated with the LE side of the incident.

The facts are too strong in this case.

There will be no indictment.

The FBI will explain to the executives that it was a justified homicide.

hey that rhymes

What does the officer stand to get from those bums?

You think the Grand Jury decides to file charges?

Civil May be the least of his worries. The Governor basically demanded a prosecution. Not to mention the DOJ being involved.

I don't understand how everyone, including the medical examiner who did the private autopsy can suggest the wounds on his arm where a result of being shot from behind or in a defensive position? A bullet could also hit that angle if someone is running to you. Your arms tend to move when you run...still waiting on the facts and I hear witnesses have corroborated the cops statement. It's gonna get ugly though.

You think the Grand Jury decides to file charges?

At this point, I'm not sure charges should be filed. There seems to be a lot of witness statements against the officer, and a lot for. The hard forensic evidence seems to support the cops side. At some point I'm sure we will see pictures of the officers face with the broken bone, if it happened.

Of course what I think should happen versus what I think will happen is different.

I think charges will get filed.

Right now, if the rumors of 12 witnesses on the officer's side and his injuries are true, I'd say unlikely. If those reports are not correct, they might.

You think the political pressure will play into it, causing charges to get filed?

It will happen tomorrow when holder is in town so the administration can look good.

It could be that everyone in the know realizes that the 12 witnesses, who are black, are going to nix this. Everyone expects no indictment. So Holder comes down, says he looked at it and agrees no indictment. Point is to keep the reaction in check.

I agree with you but I also believe that even though the facts of this case are in the defendants favor, I believe that this case will be "forced"....more or less, to have an indictment or either on a state or federal level. One way or another, with everything that has occurred and with the administration beginning to try to tip the scales here, something will be done in a court of law.

I'd also like to say I get the racial disparity in Ferguson and why it would cause anger. It isn't right. But I think in the end the wrong case is being used to make the point. Not sure the facts are going to support the popular narrative in Ferguson.

I thought tomorrow they were just supposed to convene and start looking at the evidence? You really think they decide in one day?

On the heels of the White House rhetoric over the Zimmerman case, you believe this?

This is true...more riots and looting to come
