Just found out the reason why the protesters want Bob McCulloch to be replaced as the prosecuting attorney is because his father was shot and killed by a black man in the line of duty. I'm surprised this is just coming out.

Very good question. I was thinking the officer was shooting and moving, but this is also a good guess.

Its my job to know these things. Advanced marksmanship etc. Been doing it for many years now in real life situations. I've worked with cops/swat, every OGA, many different countries special forces soldiers. I'm an 18b....google it.

In a close quarter battle the current shooting tactic is "point shoot". I doubt he brought his front sight into focus. Regarding gunpowder a typical handgun round has very little opposed to a shotgun and there are measurements available for typical distance from muzzle. Also, GSR tests are deemed unreliable and iirc not allowed in courts. Im not talking about distance I'm talking about the actual test used to show if someone fired a weapon.

I've been watching this on CNN today. They have been doing eyewitness interviews and quoting sources. I believe there are at least 100 eye witnesses with 75 different versions of what happened. There are a lot of liars wanting to get on TV.

Terrible shot? He hit an active target 6 times, within 6 inches of CM, killing him.

This isn't a video game

It really depends on how far he was, but have you seen the kid? His arms aren't 6" fcm. I'm 200 lbs and my arms are more than 6" fcm.

I'll be perfectly honest. He's a bad shot and he was afraid for his life, imo. That's what I believe.

Thats why we hire experts to educate people who "think" 6 shots is excessive. Look up some Force Science articles regarding number of shots fired. You'll find that often the officer has no clue how many times he fired and if you think about it why would he want to?
