Ferguson Riots

I think this is a different situation entirely. These folks are elected by people to "represent" them. Yes they have a voice, only this voice should be heard outside the doors of congress on these types of issues. Then again, I've learned to expect anything these days by congress.
Your butthurt is noted though lol

Sarcasm and butthurt are on two different levels with me. So forgive me if I don't use the blue font people are fond of. And don't be mad you've caught me short on several occasions. It's unbecoming.

And I'll still stand on the rationale that idiots doing this (although idiot being pretty synonymous with Shelia Jackson-Lee) are continuing to perpetrate the lie about this hands up BS. And, again, doing little to help the situation.

They are perpetrating a false narrative, if Mike Brown had his hands up he'd be alive today.

I actually agree 100% with your second paragraph. Idiots gonna idiot, it goes with the territory.
I heard on the mike church radio show this morning, on the way to work, that an announcement is due soon on the Eric Garner grand jury. (Untaxed cigarettes guy that got choked out) lets just hope cooler heads prevail this time.

I have been using that blue font lately and hate it. There are some on here that needs to turn on their sarcasm meters so we can do away with the blue font bs, jmo.

I think the Mike Garner case should be the rallying cry for this sort of thing. And with good reason. It's a pretty clear cut example of excessive force used by police. And cross threading, I'm surprised the judge threw out the case in that little girl that was killed during the raid. That should be another rallying cry and I'm really curious as to the justification the judge used to dismiss it.

Instead people have decided to hitch their wagons to a thieving wannabe thug that took on a cop and was killed with what a court determined to be justifiable force. The world makes no sense.

We are in agreement once again. I will take note of your stance on the other two cases involving cops as well.

I don't. It's more prevalent in the FF than anything. And it's not like reasonability goes hand in hand with a lot of posters in that forum.

I'm sure you'll have a volume of Grand Vol's noted exceptions to what you think he believes by the time it's over.

I have no problems pointing out when a spade is a spade (no racist) but have issues when people don't want to listen to reason or continue to live a myth and create a hero in someone who deserved what they got.

The USA makes no sense anymore because our elected officials haven't a clue on how to solve our problems correctly w/common sense legislation therefore making things worst & they continue to lie & cover up scandals.

Common sense isn't very common, especially with regards to politicians.

blue font? :ermm:

Something that started in the FF. People were making sarcastic remarks and others had no idea it was pure sarcasm. (even in cases where it was so absurd it couldn't be anything but sarcasm)

So someone got the bright idea to use blue font to designate "sarcasm" so others wouldn't be so confused and not go off at the drop of a hat. It really doesn't work since people go off anyway.
