Everyone who posts on VN has probably been viewed as a dick at some point. When you take two topics that people are passionate about, and often placed on a "don't go there" list for events like company outings and family reunions (the topics being politics and religion)...
  1. and then throw in a communication method that allows for comments from anonymous people,
  2. where "sarcasm" and other emotions can not be witnessed visually (exclusive of blue font),
  3. on an internet message forum consisting of various age groups, ethnicities, and cultural differences,
  4. and where trolling is viewed by some as an art form

... it's actually quite impressive that discussions don't get more "heated" than they do.

He knew a lot about the economy. Specifically stuff I don't know that much about (investment, finance, etc.). My knowledge is stronger on the public policy side of things.

I can recall several of lgbt's retorts to BPV, needles to say they didn't stay posted very long..I think the last one he suggested was a anatomical impossibility. He really had LG's number.

So I thought marital law was invoked when a military got involved lol. Also I've been trying to educate the poor souls on social media calling the BearCat APC a tank.

There is a time and place for it. Honestly when crap like this is happening, I'm glad law enforcement has the tools to handle it.

I think this sort of thing should be taken care of by the national guard. Then you don't have to have police forces with tanks. Specialization leads to efficiencies. I assume there is a national guard nearby who never puts their tanks to use.

I would go a step further and say even a non-working tank is not in the ownership of any police inventory in the nation. I would wager the biggest thing they have from ex-military inventories are M113s & MRAPs.

Hearing they cancelled school tomorrow. Yeah, give the teenagers time off and every excuse not to worry about getting up Friday.

Anyone who goes to this town is on their own, IMO.
