Has any news come out on this lately? Or is what happened still a mystery?
I went to a Reds game over this weekend. And there was a black family sitting right behind me wearing Justice for Trayvon and Michael Brown t-shirts. When the Reds did their usual honor to service men and women, they had a bronze star recipient come onto the field. Everyone stood up and applauded except for the people right behind me. Then, when they sung the national anthem, I heard the mom tell the rest of the family to not to stand up to "that flag". She said it loud enough she was clearly trying to make a statement. I think it's fairly bold to be so disrespectful over an incident where there is a strong possibility the victim was actually the aggressor. Anyway, made me sick, and I would have said something but it was clear they were looking for attention, and I felt it better not to give them what they wanted.
