Look Ferguson knows that what will probably happen is at least 1 very highly recruited qb will commit this year and next and he knows the competition will be too high. Best of luck to him.

I can't believe there are still VN folks who think Ferguson was some kind of franchise QB, waiting to take the Vols to glory. Nonsense. He had no work ethic, didn't do his QB homework/ film study, didn't attend class, and worst of all, didn't care. We need to purge him from our memories. Sadly, he was a waste of a scholly. I agree with most that have concerns about Peterman and Dobbs. We need to hope that Worley stays healthy. As for next year, Dormandy and/or Jennings if they are EEs, have an excellent chance to start for the Vols next year. It all depends on their intelligence, study habits and dedication. Since Dormandy's father is a coach, I would assume that he has a leg up on film study and game prep. We'll see. Please VN, let's forget Ferguson ASAP!!!!

Yeah...and for no good reason. Simms probably would have played as well or better against USC jr that year. If Dooley was serious about getting Worley early work as the QB of the future, why not wait till the creampuff schedule of November?

What is it about Riley Ferguson that had everyone convinced he was "the real deal" without EVERY TAKING A SINGLE FREAKING SNAP at the University of Tennessee? This question puzzled me greatly last year, until a friend reminded me that he had done well on an ESPN reality show...which I believe was "Gruden QB Camp" or some such.
