Fellows Dismissed

I have no idea how you missed it. There's a huge thread - "UT Player Dismissed" and it's all about Fellows.

Jajuan Smith and Jemere Hendrix have been tied into this as well. Hopefully Jajuan wasn't involved, but that's not what I've been hearing.

I have heard similar rumblings. This could turn out to be very bad.

Yeah it sucks because nothing I've heard has been concrete, just rumblings. It would be nice to know one way or the other.

But oh well, if Jujaun gets kicked off, it just frees up another scholly IMO. No need to get upset. Tyler Smith and Cameron Tatum will fill in nicely

well, looks like this #2 recruiting class will get to prove it's metal pretty early on..........

I asked this on the other thread but why did Fellows get the boot so early and nothing has been made of the J Smith rumors?

One coach is looking for C-ships and the other is looking for built-in excuses?

So you'll take it by any means necessary? Forget the discipline, just win a title!

If the RUMORS turn out to be true I think CBP will do the correct thing (just like CPF has recently).

It is time for some concrete information to be supplied. I refuse to discuss Jajuan or anyone else for that matter until there is actually something to discuss.

Justin, not that I doubt you because you are closer to the program than I, but the news tends to say it is drug related. Is this robbery part of a drug deal? And why the hush hush with the local media?

1. Phil doesn't have to and there is no need to let the public know the troubles someone has gotten themselves into. It protects the player and the program from even more bad press.

2. The rumor is that Hendrix and another man (some say a current basketball player) used a shotgun to rob someone of their weed. Apparently Fellows was the driver.

Yeah well it sucks to know that my favorite basketball player, the 2nd leading scorer and best defender, could be kicked off for taking someone's weed. It's sickening to hear especially after meeting his parents and him. I definately did not think he is capable of something like that but oh well.

Maybe they were trying to prevent the dealer from selling it to young children? A sort of anti-weed vigilante posse.

I respectfully disagree. Scuttlebut flies farther, faster, and does more harm than preemptive first source information from a reliable outlet. One can better control the path of a story from the front. Chase it, and you may never catch up...

A completely different opinion than yours UTLCA, but I believe it to be true....

Agreed. Better to nip it in the bud than let writers speculate
