Not sure if already posted but it looks like Tennessee is going the route of hiring a QB coach vs another special teams/tight end coach.

Bruce Feldman: With departure of TE/ST coach, #Vols will reconfigure their staff and now looking to add a QB coach, source tells @FOXSports. #Tennessee

I think that is a good move move, there has not been a great deal of improvement in Dobbs as far as throwing the ball goes. Just goes to show Debord is not a QB coach after all!

I hate not having one, but I think they can get away with not having one for not... QB coach in Dobbs last year and these other youngsters could be big.

.......... O wait Manning??????? lol

I figured this would be the direction they would go. DeBord can coach TE, and I think I remember seeing that the ST units were all coached by different coaches, so no need to hire a ST coach.

My question is will Nick Sheridan get a serious look as our full time QB coach?

It will be a good move if the special teams production doesn't fall off. Hopefully a new QB coach will be hired from outside our existing GA's. Who thinks Nick Sheridan gets the position?

I know Dobbs has shown flashes, but I dont think he will turn into this great passer with better coaching. I think this is what we got (do NOT mean that negatively).

i'd say its 90% that Sheridan gets the job.

Sheridan isn't the right fit for the job. Dobbs accuracy is not improving and to win a NC he needs to be able to throw consistently. I'd take Tee if he decides to come. He can get a new wife but he will always be a VFL

Wonder why his son reopened his recruitment? Maybe something is going on behind the scenes.

Mama wants her son to stay closer to home and not be near Tee's current wife. I don't see Tee coming to UT unless it was for a coordinator job.
