The challenge now is to get back in the chase while also overhauling a Tennessee recruiting system that is very different from what Kiffin and Orgeron want.

You know, season after season were spent talking about the recruiting juggernaut that was Phillip Fulmer... And then Kiffin comes along and makes a hiring statement that looks at first blush like a jump from grade school to university....

Can Kiff & Company really be this much better at the recruiting game?..

I think they look that much better since everyone on the current staff knows what recruiting entails. Even Kiffin seemed to target people who have skills combined with knowledge of certain regions to recruit. Then you put Coach O is the lead chair and I think it's a more organized/concentrated approach. I felt the last staff was good at getting kids on campus but you can see a defined plan with the new guys.
