Having spent two years around UT recruiting coordinator/defensive line coach Ed Orgeron when he was coaching at Ole Miss as I worked on Meat Market, it felt like deja vu. Only now he was bouncing around a football office wearing this impossibly day-glow orange Vols fleece; the war room was three times bigger and legendary defensive coach Monte Kiffin is sitting around the table. Oh, and there were no Red Bulls or Slim Jims in sight.

the piece about Tebow interviewees being impressed with Tebow's intelligence makes me a bit skeptical. He sounds like a blithering idiot in interviews and press conferences.

i went to HS with a couple of guys who got football, but not much else.

Maybe they are surprised that he isn't as stupid as expected. Not sure if you're aware but the man had a terrible SAT score. 800, I think.
