Feed Me My Crow. Dobbs Is The Man!

What am I wrong about?

What are you right about is the better question. You are insinuating that a player the same coaches got to commit to the university 'bailed the coaches' out. They still had to play him. The defense still had to get the back to back sacks in OT. Medley still had to drill the FG. You have no concept of team sports.

Yes, Dobbs was the man tonight. But you still have to have a defense that has been relatively strong this year considering we are playing so many freshman. Hurd is a beast. The WRs and TEs still have to catch the ball. I don't really know what your gripe is. We won. The offense put close to 650 yards of offense and you're still *****ing because it wasn't a perfect game. Some of you need to find a new hobby because it is obvious football is not for you.

Ask yourself if we win this game with Peterman or Worley at QB. If the answer is no, then you agree that the coaches made a serious mistake with their QB decisions. Worley had to get injured and then Dobbs played behind Peterman at Alabama to start the game. The best player on offense was buried on the depth chart and appears the coaches were oblivious to it.

Down lineman got sacks and a kicker made a FG. Has literal nothing to do with coaching. Like I said, I commend the players effort. They deserve the praise. Not the coaches.

The defense was terrible tonight. I don't understand your point. We let Cooper just jam it right into our butts all night and never even tried to fix it.

I agree. Bravo to the players. I don't understand your point here.

OP I'm right there with you except not about Dobbs. It was a about this offense not being able to work. I know SC defense is bad but we put up over 600 yards of offense. 600.

OP enjoy your crow, don't know that you deserve it though. At least admitting you misspoke is better than trying to convince everyone you couldn't possibly be wrong.

Heck, just go get some Old Crow and call it even.

I don't give a **** if you do or don't understand my point. You don't know jack about sports, or you wouldn't be complaining about the coaches after a win with a freshman heavy team on the road against a conference opponent. Let me guess, you are one of those guys that think you are smarter than the people that make a living coaching because you are good at a video game. Stick with the console kid.

It was not a mistake to try and redshirt dobbs. It was a calculated risk. If our line was just a bit better and they actually call delay of game vs the gators, we get into a bowl game with worley/peterman and we have 3 years with dobbs.

Now i agree the right call for 2014 was to play dobbs, but there was an actual plan in place.

Not sure what running a shotgun read option dive from the 1 yard line and not starting your best player has to do with being a freshman heavy team, not sure you do either, but just keep insulting me instead of actually discussing points. I am sure it makes you feel better about yourself.

It has nothing to do with feeling better about myself. It has to do with little wormy geeks that could never lace them up in real life talking about a game they could never physically play. Arguing about specific plays after racking up 650 yards of offense is the epitome of being a console expert. You are not dictating anything. If I don't see you as legit enough to discuss you making foolish comments about the coaches, then that's where it ends.

Difference is I participated, you watched and played with your other twig like friends on a console in someone's basement. That's what I see with your assessment.

They like to throw it up in your face like their internet cool points can be saved up to spend at Big Lots

Aren't you feeding the fire and doing the same thing to build up your internet points?

I mean come on kids, grow up everybody should be happy with this win.

We have too many thin skin posters on this board....if a poster can't take it then he shouldn't dish it out.

Doyle thanks for admitting that you were wrong and enjoy the crow. I done it before.

Dobbs had a game tonight that Marcus Mariota would be jealous of. Granted Carolina's D sucks out loud, but it feels good to know that we a have a bonafide playmaker leading this O for the next few years.

Mariota would have thrown for 5-6 TD's

The coaches are so dumb... So dumb. Why redshirt guy like dobbs. He was terrible in camp! These coaches know nothing! Why would. Kid like hurd come play for them? A bunch of big east pansies ?

If you can't see the plan unfolding, I understand, it's about as clear as mud. But the kids are believing. Remember, Barnett, Hurd dobbs, reeves-maybin, north, j smit, sutton. Etc etc etc. these are frosh and sophs. They are building a foundation. It's so freakin awesome watching them perform
Especially tonight. I love aj. He's a hell of a leader and a VFL. But holy moly where this team is headed......

I agree with the post that mentioned with Dobbs in we would have beat Florida and Georgia.

However, that's in the past now and doesn't really mean anything. If we win out then we are 7-5 and go bowling. That's a very big deal for this team and this program. Granted we could lose to Mizzou and win the other 2 and still get in a bowl game but I would much rather win out.

Next year Dobbs could be in the running for the Heisman and Hurd along with him.

Mariota has never had to play behind this OL. 470 yards and 5 total TDs is good against anybody, especially behind this OL. Not saying Dobbs is better, just that he played a great game.
