FBI locks down Pilot HQ?

Could be anything up to and including relative to the Boston bombing. In the sense of needing to protect the governors family. We will have to sort this out but it isn't something that happens every day. Could even be tied to an extortion or kidnap plot.

I wouldn't worry to much both Haslem Brothers are not involved with day to day operations...I believe jimmy resigned after he brought the browns...but we will see what happens

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. I'm pretty sure he came back as CEO back in feb or so.

Jimmy Haslam is back as CEO of Pilot Co. Compton was asked to resign back in Janurary and Haslam became the CEO again in Feburary. All initial reports I am hearing are about price fixing, but I have not gotten any confirmation yet those are just rumors floating around at this time. Will keep posted with any other information, but I hope all Haslam hands come out clean in this b/c that would be a HUGE hit to our athletics programs and football especially.

rambling yes - idiotic not necessarily so - I worked for another wealthy Tennessean and they were constantly on alert and working to minimize the possibility of someone kidnapping the grand kids. I am not saying when there is a terrorist attack --- I know the order of protection - the FBI shuts down Pennsylvania Avenue - they add protection to the President and members of congress. Where the Governors of the States along with members of the 500 wealthiest people in the country fall in the order of added protection -- I couldn't tell you - but it is certainly conceivable that added protection would go out to all the Governors and to their families.

My main point was that it was way too early to speculate.

I know for 100% that not only were the FBI and IRS there, but some sort of Treasury officials. Rumblings are price fixing.

Is anyone else worried that Pilot Flying J FBI/IRS investigation might turn up some Vols booster activities.

I don't know why this would consistently get moved from the Vols Football forum.

Pilot Flying J has a lot to do with Tennessee Football. I wouldn't be surprised if something gets forwarded to the NCAA
