Unfortunately, you realize that had he won this and next week, he would have retired and been gone forever
now he's going to be there and we'll have to deal with him for like 3-4 more years
This one was the worst. They had at least a FG attempt to win in regulation and made a rookie QB mistake.
up there with throwing 4 yards past the LOS and the mindless bomb against Philly. A good friend and fellow Packer fan said it best...Favre is the best mediocre QB ever.

Absolutely ridiculous. He will go down as one the greatest to ever play the game. He made stupid decisions and trusted his arm too many times, but to call him mediocre is ridiculous.
Sounds like a Green Bay fan that has their panties in a wad because he decided to keep on playing after GB showed him the door

He won't go down with the likes of Montana, Bradshaw and Brady simply because he only won one SB. However, the main reason I wanted to see him in the big game one more time is so those ungrateful pieces of trash that are Packer fans could feel like idiots for the way their franchise treated him.
I know they needed to keep Rodgers. I was mainly referring to the treatment he got at Lambeau this year. It's not up to the Packers to tell him when to retire, and after winning a Super Bowl there, Favre deserved better than how he was treated upon his return.
Uh, Bradshaw isn't even in the top 15 greatest QBs ever.He won't go down with the likes of Montana, Bradshaw and Brady simply because he only won one SB. The dude was playing for their rival. Fair treatment imoI know they needed to keep Rodgers. I was mainly referring to the treatment he got at Lambeau this year. Fair enough on Bradshaw, let me replace him with Elway who I inexplicably left out when naming greatest Qb's. I was trying to quickly think of good/great QB's that had won it multiple times, and I have no idea how I forgot him. As for Favre, what other teams fans react like that when one of their favorite players comes back to their former home? Do the Lakers when Shaq comes back to LA?
