Magnum TA. That series of matches against Nikita Koloff was legendary. Too bad the accident left him unable to wrestle anymore.

I remember watching Randy the Macho Man Savage in his debut match on WWF. The subtitles said he was fighting out of Knoxville, TN. Does anyone else remember seeing that?

Stone Cold Steve Austin
Booker T

The skit where Austin attacked Booker in the grocery store may be the best in the wrasslin' history.

Austin sings to Booker:

When the moon hits your eye
Like a big pizza pie
That's amore

Then bashes him with a pizza.

"Price check on jackass!"

Right up there with the infamous Austin 3:16 speech.

Austin throwing the Rock's intercontinental belt into the river is a classic too.

YouTube - Death of the old WWE Intercontinental Championship Belt

"Let him swim out there and find the damn thing. If he's lucky, he'll find it. If not...maybe he'll drown. I really don't give a damn what he does."

Man, the IC belt used to mean so much. It was almost bigger than the world championship. Guys like Austin, Hart, the Rock, Roddy Piper, and Hennig had it. Now its garbage.

Being an East Tennessee guy, I always loved the Nature Boy Buddy Landell. I will never forget: "Wild Cat Wendell Cooley. He's just mad 'cause I stole his woman"

As a product of the 70s and 80s, I was all about Mid-Atlantic Championship wrestling and Crockett Promotions. I never saw a WWF match on tv until the mid to late 80s.

Loved Jack Brisco, Ricky Steamboat, Wahoo McDaniels, Don Kernoodle, Chief Jay Strongbow, and Ric Flair.

Later, it became Flair, Tully Blanchard (sling-shot suplex), Ron Garvin, Rick Rude, and Magnum TA.

I liked Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka from the AWA and then during his WWF days. Road Warriors and RR Express for tag.

I miss the legendary wrestling from the days of yore in the mid 1980s.

In the late 80s when Flair put his title up against Nikita Koloff in a series of matches, I was front row during one match. Flair threw Nikita over the railing and he landed right on top of me. It was AWESOME!
