Hate Johnny Depp. He CAN be good...very good, in fact, but for the most part I think he misses the mark.

Pretty much anything he made that isn't Blow, Edward Scissorhands, Donnie Brasco, or Gilbert Grape. Got so tired of the Depp/Burton team up.

Donnie Brasco and Blow can make up for just about any number of annoying movies he's part of.

Also, I like PotC. Sue me.

I liked Benny and Joon, but cannot fairly assess it since I haven't seen it in like 15 years.

Nick of Time was good too, but I think that probably had more to do with Walken than Depp.

I liked Rushmore the best out of all his films. I'm kind of tired how his movies have turned into fodder for the pretentious hipster crowd. Or maybe they were always like that.

Saw Moonrise Kingdom and enjoyed it. Changed my avatar to a pic of Cousin Ben because I worked the same job running the trading post at Camp Buck Tom's for two summers. I didn't look nearly as ridiculous, though.

Moonrise Kingdom is pretty good, I saw it this past Sunday at the Belcourt in Nashville. I did feel a little "hipster" watching it at the Belcourt though.
