Favorite Vols Memorabilia

My favorite is a panoramic picture of the stadium in a nice wood frame. I enjoy just looking at it. What I really want is a sign like is above the locker room door (I will give my all for Tennessee today). I don't know where to find one. I've been looking, but all I can find is a magnet. Any help would be appreciated.

My favorite (and most expensive) item is a framed by the artist print "The History Of Tennessee Football" resigned by the artist and hand signed by Peyton Manning. Also for novelty value, I have a UT Barbie in a cheerleader outfit. Also have US Postal first day covers of the '98 NC and 6 time NC Lady Vols.

The retail was $499, but I didn't pay close to that. I really have no idea of its value, and have no desire to sell it anyway. The print has every All-American, Hall of Famer and coach that was at UT plus John Ward. Johnny Majors has the distinction of being represented twice. Here is a closer pic.

ya think Crompton writes big enough? lol

I had him sign it a few years ago. I told him he was the only one that would sign it, and asked him to sign big.

My plan was to only have him sign it, but I love D-Mo and Berry and so I took it this year. I told Morley since he and Berry were going to cover the whole field, for him to sign half and Berry to sign the other half, so Morley signed one hash and told Berry to sign the other hash.

just got mine 2 weeks ago and really like it. My jersey is #9 if you see one this fall at the games

Mine is #25, but it is from about 3 years ago. That was my favorite design the team has worn. Orange w/black mesh down the sides and a big white power T on the chest. I usually wear mine to Icebear hockey games, and get several compliments from people each time.

Mine would definitely be the Thanks PeyTon (Orange Power T) poster released at Peyton's last home game in 97. I would love to get that thing signed.

Where/how have you come up with so many of these autographs? That is a boat load. Would love to know your secert on how/where you get these!

my collection is a labor of love. i have only been collecting ut mini helmets since oct 2005 and have around 150. i do a lot of research on where the older guys are currently living and send them a letter asking if they could sign a helmet. most have been very generous. just this week i got steve kiner. what i really like is talking back and forth with the vols of the early years. got a letter back from walter slater who played in the early 1940's and he said he is doing well for an 87 year old guy. have real fun with this. i am sending joe steffy a helmet on saturday who played on the 1944 rose bowl team and then went on to west point and then the army.

Thought I'd bump this since we have quite a few new people.

grabbed 2 UT mini-helmets pretty cheap today signed by Stanley Morgan and Gibril Wilson (the store is going out of business). They have another store with a few more that I hope to go see this week.

I have a mini helmet signed by Peyton and also a game jersey signed by Peyton. I also have a mini helmet signed by Crompton and Wes Brown after I met them at a minor league baseball game this summer.
