Favorite UT/UF game moments

Good point. He did hit the 50 yarder only because the clock operator gave him that chance. Gaffney's catch/non-catch was on 2nd down. Still had two more tries.

True, but there were only 14sec left in the game, and they still had to "catch" the ball. :p

In 2000, I remember Travis Henry tripping over the 20 yard line, when he had nothing but green grass stopping him from running untouched to the south end zone.

You guys should have killed us in 2000...kicking all those FGs instead of scoring TDs...

My favorite moment was winning at Gainesville in 2001. However, it is also the cause of one my biggest feelings of dread I've ever felt related to sports. I knew we were in trouble after winning in 2001 because Casey Clausen and a bunch of guys got off the bus for the pep rally after flying back from Gainesville holding roses in their mouths. I went from being euphoric at the W, to thinking that was a bad sign. We still had to play LSU, and of coure we lost later that week causing us to miss out on the Rose Bowl. I still wonder what could've happened if they hadn't been so cocky...

I was at Gainesville for that win too!!!!

We will be at the game on Saturday - can I get a 3 for 3 in the W column for attending?

1992, 2001, 2010? (that would be every 9 years....)

I remember my namesake clocking Joey Kent in '95.

I also remember Eddie Moore knocking out Kelvin Kight in 2001.

03 in the swamp. The last time we won there. Me and my buddies sat 4th row, 50 yard line behind the tennessee bench. It was the hottest game I've ever been to but it was easily the best. The James banks Hail Mary, Kevin Burnette leading the band. But I think the best part was that we were right on the edge of a UF section. We got to gator chop them right in the face all afternoon. Good times...

Not one of my favorite moments, but I remember Jamal Lewis trucking Marquand Manuel in the '99 "Alex Brown" game. I had seats down low that game, and I remember Jamal being bigger than our linebackers.

Didn't sombody's helmet get broke on that play?
