Titans stadium was in one of the worst parts of Nashville. Sometimes a big public work that attracts all of the community helps to revitalize an area.

Welllllll. I agree to an extent. It gets shady quickly over there still. And basically they built a big wall and made broad ingress and egress improvements.

In general I still wouldn't take the kids trick or treating on that side of the river.

Also, how much would it suck as a student to have to drive 45 minutes for a home football game?

This is a little off topic but outside the SEC I like North Carolina, BYU, San Diego State's stadiums. I also like Boise State's but that's only because of their turf. Outside of their turf I don't see anything special about it.

What makes Qualcomm so much better than Boise? They have a brand new skybox, and luxury boxes. I havn't been there but anywhere worth talking about it better than Qualcomm Stadium.

Boise State's stadium/stands look like that of Nascar track to me. I guess I didn't realize that San Diego State's stadium was that much different in real life from NCAA 09. All of the stadiums in the video game are suppose to be virtually identical. You're right that Qualcomm isn't anything special but it's still better than Boise State's stadium in my opinion.

It's cool if you like the way it looks but I just don't think it looks very good in that picture.

I'm just saying it isn't as bad as SDSU. Not that I like it in general....They have a brand new skybox that I saw which was beautiful, but still reminds me of the new-aged baseball parks like petco or busch stadium......

Oooh. I got ya. The pictures taken on the field with an empty stadium are pretty nice actually. The track around the field is kind of ugly though.

Back to the Tarholes. As much as I dislike UNC, they really do have a nice stadium.

Entrance.

Scoreboard/Jumbotron.

Stadium.

I hope to make it around to all the SEC stadiums at some point. Other than Neyland once or twice a year, I've made it to UGA and UF for away games....and also UK a few times since it's the closes SEC venue to where I live.

SEC stadiums I'd most like to visit:
1. LSU (for the party)
2. Alabama (mainly b/c of the history and vols biggest rival)
3. Ole Miss (to see the grove)
4. Auburn
5. South Carolina

I have been to every SEC stadium at least twice over my entire life. My favorite is a night game at LSU (other than UT of course). Factoring in outside of the SEC venues (and I know most here wont believe this) my two favorites are Ohio Stadium and The Coliseum. Great atmospheres for both, and PLENTY of great bars and hangouts near the stadium, especially at OSU.

well, i live about 8-10 hours from Neyland, so the only experience i have is Beaver Stadium at Penn State. AWESOME student section. i sat next to it, right above the entrance tunnel. great stadium, although the team SUCKS. miss the view of nittany mountain though.

i hope to make it to neyland one day. had tickets to the UK v UT game a few years ago at UK, but my dad had to work then...

top 5 besides UT:

1. LSU
2. Bama
3. UGA
4. Auburn
5. Ole Miss

favorites outside the SEC: Ohio Stadium, North Carolina, & Mizzou (always liked that "M" behind the endzone)

What are your guys favorite stadiums across the country?

Memorial Stadium (Home of the Fighting Zooks) is very nice now that they completed a huge renovation project. They pretty much used tOSU and Tennessee as models for their project, but what was once a craphole stadium for a craphole team, in a craphole conference is now a very nice stadium for a mediocre team in a craphole conference.....:birgits_giggle:
