Watched the highlights this morning. A number of really fun plays to watch from that game, But Shy outrunning their QB (who had a nearly 10 yard head start) to recover that fumble was the greatest moment of the night for me. Kid deserves it after what happened to him last year. What stood out to you?

O'Brien manhandling and flattening a blocker to put pressure on the quarterback. That alone opened up opportunities for the other linemen who got the sack.

Malones big TD reception. The tech defender went to the ground trying to defend it. Malone just stood in the end zone with the ball like his 4 year old cousin was trying to steal it from him.

Gualden blowing up the VT QB on one of those option plays. He definitely has the highest punch per pound ratio on the team. If he can stay healthy I expect we'll see a bunch of highlight hits from him in 2016!

This. He seems to have gained a lot of confidence for this year.

Dobbs completing a simple slant to Croom. We desperately need more of those types of plays because opponents are now clearly prepared for those short passes to Kamara or Hurd.

There's a lot of good ones to choose from, but I have to go with Shy's fumble recovery too. That's also the point I finally felt confident VT didn't have a shot at pulling a fourth quarter comeback against us.

Jennings on the fade for the first TD. Not only did he play the ball perfect in the air he maintained control throughout the catch.
Also, with weapons like this teams have to change their defensive approach against the Vols in the red zone. Not only a great throw and catch but very impactful for the future.
Side note the Byrd catch out of the back of the end zone was a beautiful catch although incomplete due to being out of bounds.

Could be the next Pig Howard but even better.

When the VT QB reached out for the ball and Tut came plowing in and sent the guy (a kid of 240lbs or so) about 2 or 3 feet away as he gobbled up the ball nearly caused me to cry laughing! Great play.

Tuttle's fumble recovery is one.
However, Hurd's run as momentum shifted where he ran over and carried people helped change the momentum for the game. Announcers also mentioned that someone needed to step up and he was that person.

I rather enjoyed TK jr blasting their RB in the skull causing him to fumble. He freaking blasted him as he didn't even come in contact with the ball.
