my opinion of overstreet began taking a dive when he began appearing on that ut sports show that runs every sunday morning during football season (not sure of the name).
Peyton-favorite player of all time.
Jerry Colquitt-Went to high school together.
Travis Stephens, Al Wilson, Carl Pickens, Dale Carter, Dale Jones, Joey Kent. There are just so many.
James little man Stewart I can't count how many times I remember him jumping over the pile from the one or two yard line it looked like he flew across there.
Sadly I also remember seeing the ball fly across the air against florida or alabama to many times :cray:. When I was 4 my favorite was Bubba Miller... not really sure why. I remember watchin my mom have tears role down her face when peyton ran through the T the last time. Big John Travis Henry were always some big time favorites. Fred White was also a favorite. Basketball Lofton and Ron Slay were up there. I was named after Dyron Nix though :good!:
Curt Watson, Bobby Majors, Richmond Flowers, Jackie Walker, Stanley Morgan, Chip Kell, Larry Seivers, Karl Kremser and Maurice Staley who I am still waiting to bust loose on that spin move on the sideline.
There are so many. Many mentioned here but these stand out for me.
Shawn Summers was one of the guys that never did much that I always thought would just dominate one day. Unfortunately he did his best work as a punt returner and nowhere else. Although he was good at it.
AL F'in WILSON -- That dude was sick. I sat with him in class - not much of a speech class genius - of course neither was I... but I gaurantee you I never would have wanted to see him coming at me on the field. Time and time again he made huge plays. JUST when we needed them. Dang, I really miss him...
Peyton -- has to be a fave as well. Just being in college with that group (94 - 98 and then 98' champs) was nuts. Peyton, during the middle of all the go pro or not media mayehm, he still took time to do a charity fund raiser for a group at UT. Solid guy. Great competitor. I will always have great stories to tell my kids and grand kids.
Tee - another solid guy and great competitor. Camping out for UT UF ticktets in 98 he came out and bought us all hamburgers...
Fred White - still a great guy.
Jason Witten -- Ive never seen a TE out run a cornerback like he did in the bowl game. UM still blows.
