I can't believe it, but I used the word "caretaker" in an email today...but I didn't get fired either.

Compare to Johnnyisms that were much more action oriented:

He busted a gut - Translation: hustled
He laid (or pinned) his ears back - Translation: prepared himself for attack
He bowed his neck - see above
He hit him a lick - no translation needed

None of this leadership reps crap.

All of it....every damn bit of his schtick. After 5 years of listening to that guy, I can’t stand any of it.

“We talk about”

Haha, yeah. Why does he start so many sentences that way?

I’ll add “the small details...” and “there’s so much that goes into it....”, like running a freaking dive play or throwing a slant is as difficult and complex as splitting the atom.

The coach that is accustomed to using "Johnnyisms" is the type we desperately need, now, yesterday, no later than tomorrow.....!!!:hi:

Since we don't compete for football championships that actually matter anymore, we need to line the Anderson Training facility with the following motivational banners:

1. Work Like Heck

2. Shower Discipline

3. Five Star Hearts

Couple weeks ago wife was on Facebook and said to me:

"What the Hell is Complimentary Football?"

After I stopped laughing I said, I don't have the slightest idea!

.
Complimentary football is not a Butch original. It is what Bellicheck says after every Patriot win.

Just read this madness:

"competitive spirit"

"that was one of the best bye weeks we've had here in a very, very long time"............then lost to a ****ty USCjr team at home..............

"how to play winning football"

"consistency in performance"

"CEO quarterback"

"102,455"

"monumental strides"

"we're still nowhere where we need to be"

"individuals"

"I'm pretty sure I wasn't my wife's first choice, but things have worked out so far"

"we have a 5 game playoff and a lot left to play for"

"we did everything to win the South Carolina game except score touchdowns"

"brick by brick"

"complementary football"

Well, your exactly right Bob drives me very very crazy when he repeatedly says thst.
