Alot of GREAT memories with these two. Chris White was very good, but Dale Jones was a Baaaad Man!!!!!! Old school TOUGH!!!!!!!!!!

Most of you aren't old enough but Tim Townes was what and is UT football a DB at maybe 165 would knock your you no what off.Played with Priest, Allen ,Graham and B. Majors

Mose Phillips. How great was that guy?
Does anyone know where I could get some pics or download some images of Mose?

No, seriously. I'm working on a project. Need some pics of Mose. I have searched any and every place on the web I could think of, with absolutely NO success.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Cedric Kline and Bruce Wilkerson.

Went to school with both and just seen Bruce at BB game against NC A&T, still a big ol boy.

He isn't a blast from the past (he was a senior this year).
He wasn't the best player on the field.
But I say WES BROWN.

He said this:
"I would rather lose them all here than to wear a crimson jersey or any other jersey from any school in the country."

You can't question that.

And Charlie Garner was extremely fun to watch.

Chris White led the nation in Interceptions in 84 or 85 IIRC. Hardly any body remembers him. How about little Victor Peppers. Another is big William Howard. I remember the Ole Miss game he ran the ball I think 16 straight plays in one drive. To this day I think that is the most brutal drive I have ever witnessed.

Shawn Summers - back when you knew our guy would NOT fumble the punt.

Victor Brown - back when we would actually defend against kick returns, this guy would destroy return men, leaving them laying in ruins with the ball or separated from it.

White dude on special teams coverage who hit so hard and his nose was bleeding after blasting a UCLA kick returner in the 1994 game. I don't remember his name, but he was the white version of Victor Brown and consistently hit hard.

Mario Brunson - great lead blocker at the goal line and 3rd or 4th and inches.

Bernard Daffney - good blocker and scored the fumblerooski TD in the Colorado game the year we tied the Buffalos the year they won the national title.

Eric Griffin - came off the bench and played a solid second half in the National Championship game against Florida State after Goodrich was injured.

The player you refer to in the 1994 UCLA game was Greg Johnson, and he is now in the Marines as an officer.
