Mark Jones, one of my all time favorite Vols. He did everything for us. Wide out, Safety, Kick returner. I believe he has the longest TD reception in Vol history w/ a 90 yarder from Casey Clausen vs. UGA that he ripped away from the corner and his big hit on Brock Berlin vs. Miami caused an interception inside the 10 in the game that we won. I loved the way that guy played.

Rick Clausen just for the Fulmer snub in the post game interview on the Monday Night Football game against LSU.

Man, that guy was a baller. Rogan reminds me a little bit of Mark Jones.

I suppose Jack Reynolds might be little known to the younger fans (unexcusable), but he was certainly well known for years as a many time all-pro linebacker for the LA Rams (yes they played in LA). I would hazard to say he was the most well known ex-Vol in the NFL at the time.

To a lesser degree, Johnnie Jones was one of the best tailbacks we had play at UT, then and now. I would pick many of your choices which tells me you don't fall into the group of uninformed fans.

Craig Faulkner. Wes Welker reminds me of him, the way he finds a way to get open on the slants and then run for crazy YAC.

I could name pretty much any of the great offensive or defensive linemen for this one...

I loved Will Ofenheusle though. He was about the most vicious SOB I've ever seen on the field.

Tyrone Hines and Shane Burton though Burton is probably a little too well-known.

Terry McDaniel

Good when he was here, NFL pro bowler after he left and there's lots of people that don't even know the name.

And he was faaaaast. #4 on Vols 55m with a 6.15. (faster than Gault) #5 in 60m. #8 in 200m. (again better than Gault's best) and #7 400m. He was an exceptional athlete.

I can still remember the shock shown by Auburn's Brent Fullwood after he set sail down the sideline, thinking he was gone, only to be run down by McDaniel.

I remember that play like it was yesterday. That was Fullwood's senior year and Aubie was touting him for the Heisman. McDaniel was so quick. Unfortunately, Fullwood had already started the lazy work habits that sank him in the NFL.
