Less than the 8 times they failed to show this year. Some folks had increased competitiveness as their only criterion for success this year. Epic fail in that regard.

Florida isn't a guaranteed loss.

The turnover of senior starters and those declaring early for MissSt, FL, SCAR, Mizzou, Vandy, KY is very high. We lose about 5 starters on D next season and at least 2 of those would have been recruited over anyways.

We should win all 4 OOC games too.

I don't think Tennessee will have anyone other than possibly JJ or MC declare early. We could possibly lose a starter to transfer but I doubt it.

I'm sticking with 8 wins as the floor for this team.

Mississippi State looks like they're going to lose most of their good players to the draft or graduation, they still might not be too bad but they could have a bit of a down year next year especially on the defensive side of the ball in comparison to this year.

I am saying based on past meetings no matter what kind of team UF has we find a way to lose.

You are right in that we will not lose that many on OFFENSE.....JJ and/or MC
BUT DEFENSE is going to be where we will feel the weight ALL DL and a LB and two CB's that is where the worry needs to be.

Florida is an automatic loss just like Bama and Georgia. Don't kid yourself. 6-6 next year is the best case scenario. Many FR will be playing next year. Next year is going to be rough.

and they have that Butch stink on them with Shoop as their DC , I don't know how they finished in top 20 with a coach from the worst team ever.

Haha no matter how low expectations are set we usually still fail to meet them:)

Not sure where you are seeing 4 guaranteed wins. At this point UAB would be a toss up after the season they had. Georgia St and UTC are guaranteed wins. Florida, Georgia, Alabama are guaranteed losses. Everyone else is a toss up game.

Hunt

Are you interested in buying some oceanfront property in Arizona for sale. Really cheap?

Hope you are right.

We're the only team in the eastern division of the conference that has ONE guaranteed loss on any future schedule for the foreseeable future.
Depressing, mostly because no other team has that albatross around its neck.

Tennessee has finished with an above .500 conference record once in the last 11 years.

The problem ain’t Bama.
Part of the problem for the rest of the conference is that the SEC is headquartered in Alabama.

I’d like to be good enough to worry about that.

Complaining about a “guaranteed” loss to Alabama is like the New York Jets complaining about being in the same division as the Patriots.

I guarantee we lose to Alabama next year. If they beat Alabama next year I will buy you 3 Krystals.
Hate to say it but winning against Bama probably won’t happen until one of two things happen. A. Saban retires or B. They get a avg QB. He’s likely there through the 2022 season at least...

Butch is taking on an almost mythical role around here as a repository of all fan grievance and blame. He has a lot of blame no doubt, but one man could not have single handedly wreaked the type of lasting havoc he is being credited with.
