he's convinced he's going to get the better end of the deal despite being desperate and wanting to trade with everyone but never accepting a counter offer. no one is going to make a even trade, he's going to have to come off something extra

I'm trying to upgrade at third. I f'd up telling everyone I wanted to a 3b and then Freese goes on the dl , so I've been getting lowballed ever since

I said earlier I would overpay, but that doesn't mean getting raped in a trade. I've sent 2 offers out and recieved 1 counter offer, which was that Prado for Kemp nonsense that you tried to rationalize into being a "wash".

Tbh, I doubt Freese puts up numbers like he did last year, which is why I tried to upgrade. He's been injured a lot in his career, except for 2012, and now he has a strained back so sure I'm skeptical. There are alot of teams with middle of the road outfields, and i have 6 OFers that will probably hit 30+ hrs apiece. Last resort was to grab someone off waivers and cross my fingers Freese returns to form, which it looks like I'm going to have to do.

how is prado for kemp being raped? i agree kemp is better but he also missed 1/3 of the season last year so who knows. yes you're giving up some in the HR and RBI dept but you still have plenty of power numbers from other players to make up for the loss. either way it's a lot better than trying to trade me a guy facing a possible 50 game suspension, that's trying to rape someone.

i admitted i read it wrong as far as things being a wash but you're acting like i want a star for a guy hitting below .230.

And if he doesn't? Well that would be a pretty even trade, it's not like I was against throwing something in with Cruz. Like I said, I didn't expect you to accept Cruz for Prado but I didn't think you would counter with something off the wall like that.
