I can't help but see a change in the way that Tennessee fans are looking at their Vols. The last couple years they seemed to expect more but now I believe they are starting to understand that these boys are putting everything on the field. I respect the Vol fans more and more each weekend. They haven't gave up on this team, when a lot of other colleges would be throwing their team under the bus instead of cheering as they pass them by. That's what makes Tennessee football great. Its more than just a game, its a family.

People are still behind the team.

That doesn't mean that they can't voice their displeasure over what happened. We were screwed in some aspects, but most of the harm was self inflicted.

Dooley has to get our substitution situation corrected.

This loss stung bad, but if anyone would have told me that it would have come down to the last play, I would have not believed it. I would love to have the depth and talent that LSU has and I hope that we will get there. Keep fighting Big Orange!:good!:

I agree sub management must be improved, but there are so many things this staff has to work on and so little time to do everything. For one thing, this past week they had to work on tackling. It was much better this week. Now they need to work on pass protection. route running and run blocking as well as substitutions. I can argue that Les Miles with his experienced players screwed up on substitution on that last play, but got away with it.

I commend the players and coaches for an overall great game considering the odds against them. Did I hear that half the team had never been on a road game before? I don't know if I believe that, but even if it is not literally true to go into Death Valley against a top 10 team, give up a TD on the first play and then fight to the end says something about this team.

I'm all for this staff but they have to do a better job of GAME MANAGEMENT.

You want to talk about game management. Yea things went bad with the shuffling of players. Sometime things happen. Thank goodness we don't have the other teams staff. LSU is horrible at clock management. Our staff is doing an outstanding job and we will be back in the hunt for championships soon.

Good for the fans that showed up to support the Vols when they got home. As upset as we are about that loss you know they have to really be feeling it. That must have been nice to see that as they got off the bus...

Keep your heads up Vols you played a good game.

Not to mention that was this staff's 5th game together as a BRAND NEW coaching staff!! I'm sure no one on here ever made a mistake the first few times out doing their new job. I know I'm sure as hell not that perfect.

Glad to see some fans out there welcoming them back. I think that will really help them to put this behind them and move on!!
