Great article from the outside looking in perspective. My favorate line: "Ed Orgeron may be a nut, but he's a very good defensive line coach."

Heck, a gator fan has given me more confidence than anyone else. I still will stand by my prediction from before the season that the game will be close throughout, but UF will pull away at the end like a pick six when we're down ten in the fourth with something like five left. Who knows. Hopefully, we'll limit mistakes, play hard, and represent Tennessee football well.

Nice, well written article. I honestly believe Florida will beat us, BUT I also think they won't beat us as bad as their fans hope they will. Our defense is for real and I think will keep us in it for the majority of the game. The Gators will pull away in the 4th quarter.

I've talked to many coaches at Florida over the last 15 years about Tennessee's predictability under Fulmer. You knew he was going to throw it deep once in the first quarter. You knew he'd run it behind his best lineman on third-and-1. I remember talking to Jon Hoke after a key Florida stop on third-and-1 in Knoxville allowed UF to get the ball back and win the game. "He did the same thing on fourth-and-1 the year before," Hoke said

Pathetic.

Of course all logic and common sense tells me that the efforts of our Vols will be futile Saturday, but anything can happen on any given Saturday. With that being said, GO VOLS!!!!! I'M WITH YA THROUGH THICK AND THIN BABY!!!!:rock::rock:

This should be no surprise to anyone.

I always liked Dooley. He's seen a lot. Hope the team realizes they can take nothing for granted.

This is my ultimate dream:

Florida is up by 10 with like 1 minute and 45 seconds left in the game and are inside our twenty and have called their third timeout in the last minute. They want to add a TD to make it a 17 point win. Tebow lines up and hikes the ball and throws to the flat and Berry scores on a pick 6.

We then recover the onsides kick and go down and kick the tying field goal and then go on to win in OT.

Not only would we have beaten the Gators, but Meyer would look like the biggest idiot in college football history.

blitz on every play
We need to do this, we need to get after Tebow on every snap. We have nothing to lose we should play with hyper- aggression. ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK!!!

UT, we might not win but we'll break your QBs jaw

It was interesting reading the comments from their readers. Not one of the UF fans gave it a second's thought to some of the points in the article. The common answer was "win by 50 or more".

I honestly believe only about 5% of the entire Gator fanbase is taking this game seriously. For the rest, it's turned into just another tuneup game prior to the rest of the SEC season. They may be correct, after all that pitiful offensive display against UCLA doesn't appear to be threatening.

We shall see though.

There are more objective fans out there, however the stupid ones tend to be the loudest. You have too good of a coaching staff for it to get out of hand. The only way it gets crazy is if Crompton gets pick happy again.
