Fans' responsibility

Yep. That, OR.... Saying that fans didn't cause a single loss. Simply wishing fans could be FANS, not impartial consumers.

How many back in June was thinking we won this game?
How many yesterday was thinking we won this game?

If everyone could just be as good of a fan as you the Vols would be 5-0. Give me a break with this crap. Just keep your stupid attitude and if you can convince enough people to accept terrible results we can keep this loser coaching staff. Then you can be the last fan standing.

I very well may be. And I will cheer my heart out. I don't support based on my level of approval of the coaches and/or players on the field. Maybe some of you can teach me your ways.

The only thing that makes this University and our AD pay any attention is when fans stop showing their support for this trash show we have for a coaching staff.

Seats will be empty and a lot of that brand new Nike gear that was a guarantee to be sold like hot cakes during the season is going to be gathering dust on the shelf. But if that's what it takes for someone, anyone to get a clue about where we are at right now with this staff, then so be it. I'm tired of mediocrity and excuses.

Jones and his team responded to a weeks worth of criticism about as flat and uninspired as possible tonight.

Expecting fans to get fired up for this disjointed mess of an offense or a defense that has regressed badly in the ability to tackle or get a turnover is just a trolling effort by the OP.

There are few things worse than energy vampires who tell others who've spent their hard earned money on a product how to use said product.

You bought your ticket, you get to do what you like within reason.

Lol whatever. I lose my voice every game screaming and I was shocked that many showed up with the Florida loss and weather.

No one gets loud for the 3rd down song. They simply get up and dance. Once it's over there is some noise

But shame on you for trying to call out 101,000 who braved hurricane rain forecasts to attend the game. It's a shame the highlight was the half time show and Jalen Hurd knocking the psis out of one of his lineman who just stood there like a matador waving a bull by with his cape

I don't know if Butch can, or should, survive this trial, but after being in Neyland tonight, I can say without a doubt..... Our fanbase is doing ZERO to help this team win. We make noise after kickoff returns, and when Lil Jon says to. Other than that, we sit on our hands and worry. It was truly shameful.

You must have been at a different game. The crowd was loud right up until Arkansas converted that last 3rd down.

My fault guys. I played like s#!+ tonight. Really let the team down. Its a process. Some fans are young and the analytics department said we shouldn't yell on 3rd down for what.

I was shocked people were leaving down 4 with over 2 mins left and all 3 TOs. That says theres ZERO faith anymore.

Attendance.will plummet, as will recrruiting. Execution this year has been horrible. Have they.not corrected those in practice?

No confidence left in bricks

Can't blame the fans brother. I was there. It was cold, windy and rainy and there were still 101K and some change in attendance. Now tell me, what other program in our current state would almost sell out their stadium on a rainy night? Our allegiance shouldn't be questioned, but it's getting thin

The fact that this post is getting so much support is downright shameful. I don't disagree that the OP's premise is wrong, but wow...you have some serious issues. I hope the closest people in your life have restraining orders.

I can't believe the post is even up still.

How many yesterday was thinking we won this game?

It was one of the three losses I saw us having back in June. After week 4 I thought we could surely beat them after seeing them lose to Toledo.

At $50-250 per ticket plus donations I would say the fans have done their part. I would come closer to saying if the fans have any responsibility it is simply not to attck verbally or otherwise and players. The players are not making $3m per year to have this type of product.
What is the avg. price for a Vol game??

I want shocked at all to see the fans leaving. Brunch has lost the fans support, and the players too. Or soon will...
