As great as the win on Saturday was, there are a few issues I have with our fans: 1) we allowed way too much blue in the stadium. We have to stop letting opposing fans like Bama and now Kentucky take over. 2) It was one of the dullest, most sterile atmospheres I've seen in awhile. It got better as Tennessee took the game over, but it was never electric. 3) It was never a sellout. Plenty of empty seats in the South end zone. 4) About 10,000 people showed up after kickoff. Get in your seats for the T and don't make the rest of us have to stand up and down and stop our cheering because you're late.

Let's sell out Neyland.
Get there early.
Let's be loud from start to finish. The place needs to be berzerk when the team runs through the T and every time we're on defense.
And for the love of God....prepare for the cold weather by bringing something ORANGE to wear as a jacket or coat. Missouri is black. The stadium shouldn't be full of black coats, as it was Saturday and for past meetings with Missouri and Vandy just because that's the color of the coats Vol fans brought.

This is the biggest recruiting weekend in a long time. Momentum is picking up. Let's do our part. I certainly will.

You aren't lieing. I was there for the TSIO and Charlotte and the stadium was the flatest I have seen for either level of opponent. I will be there and will be loud, but I do fear recent years have dug us a hole that will take more than the KY win to dig out of.

The Kentucky atmosphere was fine. Charlotte was about what you expect when you schedule teams like Charlotte.

I have never been to a cold weather game at Neyland where the atmosphere was "electric". There was way more blue than I expected. I don't know if the people can help getting to their seats before kick off or not. It is so slow getting through the gates with the pat downs and bag checks.

well, before start of the game let's gather all opponent's fans at every entry and detain them until the half...can't allow alcohol into Neyland, you know...that, along, with ten dollar seats everywhere should make it a "can't miss this" Vol party...:D

GO VOLS...BEAT TIGERS!

Most don’t have orange coats.
They should wear an orange shirt over their coat.

A lot of fans just take a casual attitude and sell their tickets to the scalpers. Interest levels are lacking.

The lines were longer than usual due to the random pat downs. But I still got to my seat 40 minutes before kickoff. Just get in line a few minutes earlier.

Cold weather games can be electric. But Tennessee normally plays bad teams in cold weather, which is why you haven’t seen any. But the high is 57, so this shouldn’t be too cold.

I hope Tennessee fans are excited about this game. They should be, given Saturday’s win, the progress of this team/program, the quality of opponent, and the importance of getting at least one more win...on top of the parade of star-studded recruits who will be present. I hope we blow them away.

Tennessee vs Norte Dame 1999....that place was screaming for blood when we were up by 21 in the 3rd. Top 5 loudest games I have ever attended. It can happen. Not saying it will. I will be there and I will be loud.

It was one of the biggest games for Kentucky in the last 100 years for their best team. of course there are kentucky fans that paid to be there.
and number 2, it's still kentucky. it makes me more excited about our fan base if your account is accurate. it means that kentucky is still the little brother, and we expect to beat them, and will never tear down the field goal posts after dominating even a top ranked kentucky team.

Gotta keep winning games if you want that stadium full and raucous. It can happen with a quickness if hope keeps building.

Let's sell out Neyland. = Technically it is a sellout. It then becomes a matter of UT Ticket Office and Scalpers and Fanz who are staying home distributing the tickets to those that would attend. That is the rub. Sat is going to be SUNNY...……with a High near 60.
WEATHER IS NO EXCUSE.

We need an atmosphere if we want to sway people like Nolan Smith. I don't think he is able to be swayed though.

It's also the last home game for 13 of our loyal footVol Team so make it special for those Seniors that stuck through everything and gave their all for Tennessee!

Be proud and get LOUD and whip DD and those tigers!!!

I'd love to go if any of you are selling tickets at a good price. Live in Chatt if you have tickets and can't go.

It got a little better for Kentucky but points are valid. So many are in a wait and see. Seems like we should be turning a corner if we can pull a win Saturday. The blue was the most disheartening
