I want to know VN's opinion on the atmosphere at the Vol walk.Some people clap and say, go get em boys!! But for me, I'm yellin chest bumpin players just trying get them jacked up for the game it get's me pumped because every game it seems like I am the only one doing it but I may not be just sayin....then when it's over people look at me like im a complete idiot?


Just wanna know how all of yall feel about it.

Im not callin everyone out saying get loud and crazy even though it sounds like I am just wanna be clear on that. GBO!!!

I learned this a long time ago WHO GIVES A **** what people think, If you wanna stand in the game stand if you want to take your shirt off and run around the stadium like an idiot do it but if you want to get the players hyped and chest bump them etc DO it, IMO your a true fan!

Do whatever you want to get the fellas pumped up! If people look at you funny, make a weird ugly face and act retarded.

It would pump the players up if they were about to walk out on the field, but there's a lot of time between the vol walk and gametime...reminds me of coach o and taylor.

Not thinking it's weird or anything, I like it but getting too much of an emotional high so early before a game can drain your energy. I wouldn't look at you funny for it, I also like to be close to the players for the walk but I think just seeing all the fans lined up for them and cheering gets them excited enough.

If 15,000 onlookers all chest bump the players, they'll be gassed B4 warmups! Maybe you should just stay that one dedicated chest bumper. :)

Fan is short for fanatic, so to me, you're not fanatic if you don't do those type of things.(chest bumpin/high fivin):)

I wasn't aware that we could walk in the middle of the Vol Walk. Thought we were blocked off like animals by security.

I walked up to Dooley first game against UTM and shook his when they was walkin down the hill so as long as you don't get tooo crazy with you'll be alright.

But walkin with the players I don't know bout all that. LOL

who cares if some "fans" look at you like your an idiot. me and my 6 buddys walked around for 2 hours befor the cincy game in orange body paint spelling out go vols. trust me its better to be to into it than not enough. i know for a fact the players respond to it, they want to be liked and pumped up.
