Seriously though... I've never seen a bunch of babies crying about games in my life. We have already gotten rid of two coaches who should have never been hired in the first place and now because Butch comes in to a mess of a team and he uses coach speak instead of being honest and telling us things are going to tough; you're ready to have his head too. What happened when he was giving more access to the media and fans? He had to deal with idiots reporting false injuries and incidents within the team. He's been here for 3 years and really only two of his classes have been "his classes" so we still have to get as much put of these kids as possible. I don't know why people are always complaining about how he uses slogans and mantras because he's not going to stop. He's always going to give vague answers, so if you don't like it don't watch his pressers. Do you see any coaches going out without any bs answers for the media? I sure as hell don't, so stop with all the whining about this and crying about that. Let the guy show us what he can do because we are obviously still growing as a team. We are going to get wins that will show people we are real contenders. Our off season was tough with suspensions and injuries that we still have some rust that needs to cone off. Let's go out and destroy WC next week to show people we have that killer instinct. GO VOLS!!!

Yes, and what I meant by it is Butch always takes it easy on "cupcake" teams when we play them. We need to go out there and blow them up by the half so we can get our second and third stringers in to give them some reps. I always see all the other Power 5 confs beating teams by 60-70 points and we go out and put up like 40 and then just run clock out. F that we should take our frustration out on WC and prepare to bring it to the Swamp the week after.

This is a serious question and honestly no disrespect:

What happens to you when CBJ gets this going in the right direction or heaven forbid we actually do win the EAST this year or next? Do you lose all credibility or start over with a new screen name?

I just ask bc I remember you being anti-CBJ last year. Just seems a little early for all the hate. I have a hard time understanding the extreme positions (and not just by you) this early in a rebuilding operation. Did he not meet expectations last year and are you already throwing in the towel for this season?

We had people posting this exact same post, when Dooley was here and towards the end of his tenure. There is absolutely nothing different about Butch and Dooley on the field, to this point in their UT HC career's. Butch wins a ton more off the field, but you are judged with what you do on it. That's what fans are frustrated with, the results.

I respect this opinion but why do people think our football program (which was in the absolute cellar of the best conference in America) should be turned around so quickly? It actually does take a few good years of recruiting before a coach should be officially judged. I do understand the frustration of play calling on Sat...and I am one of those who thinks the coaches blew it. But has he really had enough time to get his recruits in a position to win for him?

A lot of people on here will hate this but honestly next year is the make or break season unless this season is an utter failure.

Also, IMHO, people keep bringing up FLA last year. I know it was also a heartbreaking loss. But a backup QB came in with a totally different ability and scored one TD to win it. Not the same as Sat night....not at all.
