Since everyone seems to have an opinion here lately on how we fans should react after a Vol loss, I thought I would start a thread asking for creative & constructive ideas on how to let out the frustration. What I do now is just stare at a a wall for about 30 minutes just repalying the game in my head thinking what if, but that is no fun. So here's a couple of ideas, please share your ideas if you would like, and please nothing too crazy like "go kill someone" or "light my house on fire".

First idea - Take off running unitl I pass out, but make sure I carry my cell phone so the police can ping it to locate me.

Second idea - Take off all four tires on my car and put them back on.

Third idea - Go mow the yard in 20 degree weather even though it is dead and wet.

note-I wonder what hatvol will come up with?

(note... This is not about the OP)

The first thing I would do is tell myself that it is just a game and no matter how much I wanted the Vols to win, none of it really matters in the grand scheme of things.

Secondly, I would not come on the boards here and create a whiny ass thread about how bad I think a player is or how big of a crybaby they are. This is not the type of life sucking crap that any fan wants to read.

Thirdly... Football IS only 6 months away!:hi:

This is exactly why I started this thread, instead whining and degrading players, come up with something else.

Here is another - filing my toenails

Say cuss words in my head, sulk, turn off my phone, take a deep breath, rationalize, find the positives in the game, say to myself we'll get 'em next year, read volnation posts, agree with some, disagree with others, look at the schedule, think what will UT need to do to win that game, get pumped, go on with my day.....

Drink beer while listening to the post-game report with Bob and Bert. Come up with a million different ways I would do things, then realize it can't happen my way. Then, take a nice hot shower and climb in bed. All the while knowing work will not be as fun tomorrow morning.

Seek support from my friends Jack and Jim. I can always count on them.

I was kidding about the throwing stuff. I usually work out my frustrations by UT digging. Ever seen the Grand Canyon?
