Neither of which he wrote. In fact, Kenny chesney hasn't written any too song of Gus that I'm aware of. He is an entertainer, nothing more. The wwe reference was pretty accurate

Sterlin Marlin....he ran this car in '99 in honor of the national championship, at all the Busch (now Nationwide) races in Tennessee. The two at Bristol, one at Memphis, and one at Nashville.

FWIW the reason Kenny Chesney was wearing the Gator garb was because he lost a bet with Tebow! If Tennessee had won Tebow was supposed to sing Rocky Top with him on stage! We didnt thus th GAtor crap! He is all VOL!!

The Get Fuzzy author is also a alumnus of my high school(Oh hell, if you've been here longer than 5 minutes, you know which high school I attended).

He also drew the shirts for my HS's track and field team as well.

And I think Lil' Wayne is a Vols fan if I remember correctly.

I've talked to him a few times here in L.A. We bonded over R.T. Clapp and Sons tires (his family business).

Live in the same neighborhood. Last I talked to him was when Fulmer was under fire. He was VERY much a Fulmerite.
