Super Mutants are little babies. A .32 shot to the head from my rifle makes them cry their eyes out....well, I guess it's hard to cry without their head but you get the point.

I don't have a problem with any of them except the rocket guy & he's easy if you can get close.

Yeah, I don't have a problem with them anymore. I was playing on a friends game when I had that issue. He had no health and it was right after a save spot.

I'm full on addicted to this game. I've put in 14 hours over the last 3 days which for me is crazy because i'm about as casual of a gamer as it is. I turn on my xbox about once a week

I'm addicted, also. I've gone back and started some side quests and roaming around.

I think I've run into a glitch... It's annoying. I got to Rivet City and talked to Dr. Li. She sent me to find my dad's holotapes, but I got them before that. Now it won't let me advance the storyline, it still says I have to talk to her and go find the holotapes.

Any ideas?

I just got my railway rifle last night, and completed all of the slave quests (I'm a baddie). I've done one part of the main quest line so far, and I've just been doing side quests...this game is awesome.

Main quest isnt too long. Be sure and save before you get to the end because after that the game is over so you'll want to go back to an old save file

I just rented this the other day - these aren't exactly my "type" of games per say. I do enjoy Call of Duty and Rainbow Six types of games but am not very good at them. But I am absolutely not a Halo, Gears of War, etc fan. I reluctantly rented this over the weekend because I kept reading good things about it.

I absolutely love this game. Its so different from other games and the story mode actually interests me. I'm not far into the game at all - I'm being a goodie two shoes myself. I just got to the part where you meet Three Dog. Watching the Brotherhood of Steel fight that Super Super Mutant or whatever it was called and me cower in the corner like a little girl was fun.

There's just so much random crap in this game that is so fun and the graphics are amazing.

I am beginning to search out all the "unique" versions of items. Every time I think I know about everything in the game, I find some facet that I had overlooked.

And VATS never gets old.

You should try The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The combat system is like 100% the same minus the V.A.T.S, the only difference is it's got kind of a middle age, fantasy setting, but still...amazing. Plus, to make up for no ranged weapons, you get magic to use.

You still get bows and arrows for ranged combat. Doesn't do as much damage as one would think though.

I was pretty disappointed with my railway rifle. I can't do much damage with it.

The shishkabab, however,..... :naughty:

Not to mention that the Railway Rifle can seriously mess up the game. I made it just to get the achievement.

Just a little bit before I got the RRoD I fought my first Super Mutant Behemoth.....well it wasn't really a fight. It was the one in the electric fence at Evergreen Mills & I just got above him & shot him with the Alien Blaster. yay.

It freezes my game just about every time I attempt to use it. It's been reported that it only happens on certain games/consoles, though.

weird... well, you ain't missing anything.

I shot the generator powering the electric fence and watched him slaughter all of the raiders. Fun.

Well I beat the dude (the one in the bar wanting you to blow up the bomb) in the first city death with my baseball bat and took his cloths. So I'm now walking around in a suit. :hi:
