Tony “V for Victory” Vitello showcased his 2020 squad in a scrimmage with Clemson on Saturday at The Lindsey and the Vols displayed great pitching and good offense in prevailing over the Tigers. Refusing to be intimidated by the monster program of Tim Corbin 180 miles to the west, Vitello is establishing an identity of a program that attracts and develops outstanding pitching and plays with the swagger of its charismatic head coach. Spring of ’20 is going to be fun.
