i would assume they will play a 2nd game at Smokies Stadium?

They are allowed to play 2 exhibition games so intersquad wouldn’t count. Last year they played Westerm KY in Nashville and Troy in Jackson in addition to the Orange/White intersquad game.

I’ve made that game in Nashville the last 2 years, but won’t be able to make this one. Going to Lexington to watch the ponies at Keeneland and the UT/UK football game and won’t be back til Sunday night.

For anyone in Middle Tennessee, I highly recommend going to the baseball exhibition, though. I’ve really enjoyed it both times.

I was on Ticketmaster the minute the Nashville tickets were supposed to go on sale. As soon as the countdown ended, it said, "Tickets are sold out now. Check back soon." The heck?

I’m hearing rumors of Atlanta—trying to secure a game at Truist vs Georgia Tech? Perhaps, that’s why they haven’t announced anything yet. The game in Nashville vs Troy (2pm ET) is the same day of basketball exhibition vs Duke (7pm at TBA). Not ideal….


EDIT: If UT plays in Atlanta, it won’t be against GT as they‘ve already scheduled exhibitions against UAB and West GA. Perhaps, Wake Forest again?

Sure thing….just what I’ve heard and may not come to fruition, but I know CTV has spoken of his desire for an exhibition game at Truist Park in Atlanta.

Still no announcement from UT on Fall exhibition games. This is interesting as they have a game scheduled vs Troy in Nashville (Sounds) on Sunday, 10/26 at 2pm ET.

As a point of reference, last year UT announced on 8/22/24 exhibition games against WKY in Nashville on 10/5/24 and Troy in Jackson on 10/27/24.

On 10/3/24, they announced Fall World Series games (inter-squad Orange/White games) in Chattanooga (Lookouts) and Kodak (Smokies) on Nov 6th and 8th respectively. I would expect one of these games will be at new Smokies Stadium in Knoxville.
