I saw this on some science channel. Extreme Engineering or modern marvels or something like that. Pretty cool.

Connects two viaducts... the electricity to run it only costs about $25 a day... in SCOTLAND, where it is far more expensive than here in the Tennessee Valley. :eek:hmy:

OWBie- Gas is so much higher in Europe that the canals (which were all but shut down for awhile by the railroad barons) have regained real importance in Brittain. It would be like having a 24 meter waterfall in the MS off Memphis...
