Has anyone heard when the renovations for Neyland and or Anderson training center will be completed. I think most of the Neyland renovations are to be completed before the season starts (except maybe building a gate 10 entry plaza and maybe tearing down gate 10 ramp in time for next season. What about Anderson training center. It seems like it's been decades since they announced renovation plans. Love to see some pics or video tour when completed. Thanks

Don’t need to pour money into Anderson center. Players don’t care about facilities like they did 5 years ago. They want to know 1. How much will I get paid. 2. Will I be developed 3. Relationships 4. Everything else (facilities, other players, game day atmosphere)
Its still important. Its "curb appeal" when you're trying to sell someone on the idea of being here 1-4 years.

In fairness that was all approved and finalized 4-5 years ago

Is there a tour offered @ Anderson? I recall the summer it was built around 2008 - 2011. Now it’s outdated compared to the newer ones across the US.
It’s been completely redone inside twice since it was completed in 2011. This current expansion will do so again.

Has someone else posted, if this current NIL environment had existed five years ago, this expansion would never have been done.

This was the renderings video from 3 years ago that gave an idea of what they would be doing, there was article back then about all the plans, but in the 3 years since I don’t know that we’ve seen any videos/clips/pics or even updates on that progress.

To previous posters point not as important now as it used to be, but still required to be relevant especially in terms of setting up athletes for success.

Plus honestly I love the University of Tennessee and I want us to be the best and have the best of everything.

They absolutely still care about facilities.
