I signed up for FB a couple of weeks ago because we are using it to plan our 30 year HS reunion. It's been fun catching up with some old friends. I also have several family members on there and we are now keeping in closer contact than we used to via phone and e-mail.

I have been ignoring friend requests from people I barely know or don't remember. Some people seem intent on logging as many friends as possible. I've seen some with over 100. But I don't see the point. Good tool to keep up with people you have some interest in, but I don't want to have to sift through dozens of status updates and comments from the others.
