I don't know what the right answer is only from the sense that I don't know how many candidates would be spooked with how quickly Tennessee has sent coaches from multiple sports packing.

However, I am convinced Jones ain't the guy and, generally speaking, the longer you stick with the wrong guy, the worse things get

Didn't get rid of dolittle's ass quick enough we know how that worked out. Good thing y'all nipped muschamp in bud.

Things I care more about than what a Florida fan says on **** Facebook:

1. What kind of conditioner Hillary Clinton uses.
2. Who was the better Darrin on Bewitched? Dick York or Dick Sargent?
3. What color does Butchna want me to wear this week?

I do agree our fan base is absolutely ridiculous. Don't tell me im not a true fan or any of that s*** I haven't missed a game since I can remember. The big problem is at ol and qb and depth. No one honestly realizes the crap hole our program was. We are competing with alot of young guys playing a ton. Go vols forever and always!

I rejected the notion then, and do so again now, that questioning the coaching staff and the general direction of the program, makes you disloyal.

You can debate the merits of that criticism. But I don't think its fair to portray those who offer such criticism as traitorous for having done so.

Heres a question for everyone who says NC caliber coaches usually win their conference or get into the top 10 by their 3rd year...

How many coaches start hot then flame out?, due to the quality of players left behind or getting that magical QB that saves them?

Chizik, Malzahn getting criticism, Muschamp won 11 games his 2nd year... I'm not saying its happened much, but our only hope is that Butch does in fact need more time (old school) and we see it next year and he is a long term guy. After all, like the Gator fan said, took over a horrible program and has changed a lot of things etc...

No, I don't think Butch is the guy. But if he does enough to get him another year I will continue to hope... because if he dont have hope we have nothing.

I'm just amazed that a fan of a rival school really cares enough about UT to rant that long about them. I've never been so inspired to go on and on about any other school or team.

Idiots around here don't realize when you change coaches it kills your program. Fire butch, lose all the recruits, lose current players and go through this cycle all over again. Relax.

Thank you. It's one thing to say I'm done supporting the team, but not supporting the coaches or direction of a program is just another form of fandom. We only ***** bc we care and are not happy with the current state of our fb program. And I will always support our players. I may complain ab their play from time to time, but aside from Jumper, I do support every one of the players from team 119.

People can have different opinions yet support the same primary cause...it seems this gets lost on many people.

Just save that and resend it to him in the event Florida ever has 3 bad seasons in a row. (Which will probably be never) I will agree it's a bad idea to fire Jones this year. My eyes tell me he'll probably field another disappointing team and seal his fate, but you have to let it play out at this point. We've proven we have the athleticism to compete with the big dogs. We just haven't proven we can beat any of them, but that could change in the course of a year. Honestly, it's been a combination of screw ups between coaching and players making plays. If even one of those can be improved upon we can have a shot at big success next year. Is that likely? Right now, no, but unlike the last several years it is at least physically possible. I will very skeptically watch Jones give it one more shot in 16' with his players. If he sinks in 16 there is no doubt what has to happen. None.

Ohio State, Alabama, Florida, Michigan, Texas A&M and a bunch of other programs have some objections to this statement....
