The coach kicking our ass could be coaching for us but we wanted to stall so we could interview Schiano after OSU-Michigan

Remember this when they try to put a Haslam in charge next year.

THIS IS ALL ON THEM!!!

Let’s be real. Their coach is not the reason they’re winning. We are. Lol

This is not a “wait til next year” type team. We won’t be good for 2-3 years (or competitive for that matter). Maybe we get lucky like ODU did against Va Tech, but that’s asking too much.

Fulmer and Pruitt both said we were a terrible team this year and not to expect much better than last year. Sadly we will likely have a worse record. I’m not sure Pruitt and staff is good enough to steal some wins by coaching (like LK did) but maybe they can recruit and develop the players to get us back in the hunt

Keep hiring bad coaches you get bad results.

Maybe it's not fair to call Pruitt a bad coach yet, but how often does a first time HC, OC, DC work in the SEC? Not often.

We're probably staring at a 3-9 season.

Helton calls plays like he has Bama talent.

These players somehow seem even slower and weaker than last year.

What rhe heck is Helton doing out there

I didn’t want to take you seriously but you underlined the first sentence, so now I know you mean business

Turnovers happen, not ever quite like this. Without the turnovers we’re close in this game. For whatever reason we are snakebit by the gators. Still I can’t imagine us sneaking any win from anyone remotely good. I bet a six pack with my brother that we’d have a winning season. Looks like he’s collecting at Thanksgiving... gobble gobble

One team looks like they are prepared and been through SEC batlles and the other team looks inexperienced and lost.

One head coach has been through the battles while the other coach looks inexp....

You mean without JG and the offensive line.

I’m not calling him a bad coach yet. But I’ve been extremely disappointed thus far in his early tenure. Nothing at all to make me think he will be the man. I hope I’m wrong.

It's probably appropriate to reassess expectations at this point, but to draw a conclusion 3 1/2 games into the season? Look at what we've done tonight: gone for it on 4th down, tried an on-sides kick, executed some great play calls successfully (though too few), and saw a head coach with emotion/ire/anger/frustration. Think I'll wait a while, and remain supportive, to see how things pan out for this team while rebuilding the Vol program continues.

Quit the griping, moaning, belly aching, self pity, woe is me pity party people. Yes, we stunk up the place in the first half. I get it. But it happens. The perpetual Eeoyre mind set is part of the problem. I don't care if the second half is more of the same, I refuse to despair or do anything but keep fighting and believing. I didn't become a Vol fan because it was easy or because we were winning everything and I am not quiting now. If you keep expecting the same thing to happen, it will. Man up. It is going to be an ugly year again but I will NEVER give up on my Vols.

This team just beats itself on top of being beaten by the other team.

We seldom agree, brother, but no truer words have ever been posted. If Florida had taken a knee on every play in the first half, they likely would still be ahead by 14.

Pathetic.

Sorry, but I’ve watched this same act for over 10 years. A 5-7 season would be a miracle.
