It's not the 90's anymore. We can't out-talent others any longer, there is no Peyton Manning, Joey Kent, Marcus Nash, Al Wilson, etc here. These guys play hard most of the time, but we're not good enough to make mistakes and win these games like we were back then.

And for those that will want Fulmer gone...save your breath. He's not going anywhere.

Then there is really no point talking about UT football because nothing is going to change.

So you want to do what, whine about somethign that will not happen? He's getting a raise and an extension.

I feel like he had a decent enough season to warrant one or the other, but not both. They could extend his contract to the end of time for all I care, as long as they don't guarantee him some ridiculous amount of money if we can him.

If UT loses to Wisconsin, I wouldn't be surprised if Hamilton will go back on what he said. However, It is obvious that Phil won't get fired.

But as far as whining about something that isn't going to happen, we should probably stop discussing UT winning the East next year.

It already goes through 2013...IMO, Hamilton needs to grow a pair and back off of his promises a bit. Only reason he said anything was because he got pressure from some of Fulmer's $ friends.

Never said they were. Do you really think Fulmer is even remotely gonna be fired now or anytime soon?

No. I didn't mean any sarcasm when I said that in my last post. The thought of a raise after a 5 loss season makes me want to vomit.

We played in the SEC Champ game. He wins the bowl and it's a decent season. Not great, but decent. I'm not inclined to give the man more money, but I don't care if they extend his contract. A contract extension doesn't mean a whole lot in the long run.

Then why don't you just put a UT sign behind that screw to replace the BAMA logo.....cause in that case we're screwed.

Considering neither of them had a shot at the BCS should it? If we beat LSU who cares that we lost to them by that many points. Like I said I don't care to give Phil more money, but if they want to extend his contract what do we care? Contract extensions aren't a huge deal, the big deal is the fact that Mike Hamilton appears deathly afraid to can the man.
