i thought UT and Bama tried to both wear homes last season and the SEC or the NCAA put the kaibosh on it.

Or somebody did.

Not that I know of. I remember 2 years ago UCLA/USC wanted to wear both home jerseys and the officials charged USC, because they were the away team,(game was played at the Rose Bowl) a time out.

UCLA then took a time out at the begining of the game, just to make it fair.

Not sure what they'd do now. It's more of a sportsmanship deal.

Of course both teams can't wear white. That'd be a disaster.

That was 2 seasons ago. Before last season they changed the rule in that it's fine if both teams agree.

We were supposed to wear our orange jerseys at Alabama, but Alabama wouldn't agree to it. If the home team doesn't agree, then the timeout is charged and the fine is given.

The SEC even encouraged teams that could get away with it to wear both color jeresys but to my knowledge no game ever had it.

The only good uniform Oregon has worn in the past couple of years was the 1994 throwbacks they wore last year.

That should tell you something about how many uniforms these guys go through when 1994 is "throwback".

I have it on good authority that Oregon will be wearing this uniform on Saturday.

According to tradition, they should wear white at the beginning of the game, but not afterwards.

Don't matter what los Patos wear at kickoff; they're gonna be brown at the final gun.

Buckle your chinstrap and STFO about the fashion show.

That sad part is, those were 1998 throwbacks.

Lots of recruits like the idea of helping to design and switch up the duds every three or four years though.

There are limited benefits to having little tradition. The ability to screw around with our look is the biggest benefit we get out of the situation.

Some time next decade, these current unis will be the "throwbacks."
