We go through a lot. I wake up early, hit the gym, make it to work on time, perform my duties far above and beyond expectations, pay bills on time, maintain a great credit score, keep my house in immaculate condition, obey the law, help the economy by buying all kinds of sh!t I probably don't need.. I mean its tough.

Its so exhausting that sometimes I just get home and sit in my screened in pool and/or hot tub and watch netflix on the old 55" mounted above my kegerator.

How do you cope?

I'm still reeling from a day last year in which I was watching the early Jefferson Pilot SEC game in my pool when the damn lawn service showed up.

I’m not saying that white people are better. I’m saying that being white is clearly better, who could even argue? If it was an option, I would re-up ever year. 'Oh yeah I’ll take white again absolutely, I’ve been enjoying that, I’ll stick with white thank you.' Here’s how great it is to be white, I could get in a time machine and go to any time, and it would be ****ing awesome when I get there! That is exclusively a white privilege. Black people can’t **** with time machines. A black guy in a time machine is like 'Hey, anything before 1980, no thank you, I don’t want to go.'

I hear ya Hitler. A large part of that would depend on where you end up. Plenty of whiteys wouldn't fair well in many areas.

You know, I am finally beginning to understand what Guiliani and Fox News are so mad about.

If Obama would just call them "Islamic terrorists," then we would be winning.

What is the huge problem in calling a spade a spade?

They are Islamic extremists. And there is some harm in calling the groups what they are?

I've explained it before.

There is zero value to labeling them based on their religion. But we know what motivates them, which is pitting all Muslims against everybody else. Heck, its even pitting them against some other Muslims.

They want Obama and the West to label them by religion. They want the label, because that's what feeds their goal.

I know its tough, but we have to resist the urge to stereotype, to characterize with labels, that refer to a billion and a half people. As reassuring as that is -- and we see it here in this thread -- where people want to be able to know the enemy by the language they speak, by the clothes they wear, by their benign religious practices, that extremely unsophisticated approach to this problem serves no end.
