I am extremely proud of our guys. They were down 15 and refused to give up. They didn't roll over and they made Michigan earn it. We had our chances with missed free throws and the turnover on the inbounds play at the end. We were close to knocking off a 2 seed to advance to the Elite 8. Obviously we always want to win, but I am still very proud of our guys and our coach - especially after the season of controversy we had.

So...what better time to start talking about next year?

Graduating seniors will be:
Jeronne Maymon PF
Antonio Barton PG
D'Montre Edwards G
Jordan McRae SG

Incoming freshman include:
Larry Austin PG 4*
Phillip Cofer PF 3*
CJ Turman PF 3*
Jordan Cornish SG 3*

Likely 2014-2015 starters:
Jarnell Stokes
Josh Richardson
Robert Hubbs
Larry Austin
Rawane Ndiaye

What are your guys thoughts on Coach Martin's contract situation? Is it time to extend him just yet or what? Any other recruits possibly coming in?

This team has a chance to be good next year if Stokes comes back. Davis, Thompson and Hubbs all have a chance to be special. JRich will be a great leader and really was the glue and key to the run this year. Stokes coming back is the difference between a NCAA Tourney team and the bubble/NIT.

I love McRae, and as good as he was, this team's inconsistencies largely had to do with his lack of hustle on defense and tendency to try to get in scoring contests. As much as McRae was responsible for the comeback tonight, had he played defense and gone to the bucket early like he did late, the Vols win that game by double digits.

Great comeback for UT tonight...just fell a little short. But it's still GREAT TO BE A TENNESSEE VOL!

Would love to have Stokes back next year, but the team's future success does not rest solely on his draft decision.

Not sure about Hdiaye starting - would like to see someone de commit and come to UT as a starter over him - he looked awful slow when he played

Man, I'm emotional tonight of how proud I am of this team. Never gave up. So proud to be a Vol

I like Stokes saying he'd like to come back. But I hope that wasn't just his emotions talking. If he comes back he will became a Tennessee legend and SEC legend. Would break so many records it wouldn't be funny.

Can't wait to see him get 25+ minutes a game. He was huge tonight. 6 points and 6 boards.

Hahaha I know that doesn't sound very sweet but that's what richardson looke like last year and plus he's a defensive demon. As time goes on you only get better

I think, depending on the match ups, we could see some smaller line ups with stokes being the only true post and having moore in like we saw tonight.

I think Cofer will contribute and i'd love to see davis develop.

Josh Richardson will DESTROY it next year. I think he is a more efficient scorer than McRae ever was. Jordan can get hot and light it up from outside more so than Josh, but Josh finished at the rim and in traffic as well as anybody in the tournament..

Can't wait to see him be the top dog next year! Like a college version of Paul George.. IMO.

Has hit hit the floor yet from that jump to contest Robinson's shot at the end of the half? I assumed he was still hanging up in the rafters somewhere.
