Explosive....... Not

Ive been trying to put my finger on Vols struggles and here is what I see, so far. We have a new SC coach. His emphasis was on improving explosion. The one thing Vols are missing is exactly that, Explosion! I'm not seeing OLine explode forward and violently attacking. I'm Not seeing RBs explode up the field but rather they seem to sidestep looking for room or just get buried in a pile.. I'm not seeing DLineman explode past Olineman and disrupt the play, or God forbid, try to kill the other teams QB.. Right Now Vols don't look as explosive as last year and overall strength is less than our opponents.. They are getting pushed on both sides of the ball.. anyone??

Dear Lord, is this a test? I'm not sure I can do this alone.

I got one thing to say young man. Be there when it counts. It's a long season.

I see that too. Colton and others gotta get those motors revved and not spin tires when the ball is snapped. I am seeing some really good plays to go with the gaps and whiffs. We need a complete effort Saturday.

Just because you don't agree, doesn't mean it's not true. Young or old...........do you know how many CEO that are responsible for millions of $ and 1,000 of staff to try and keep doors open and jobs? CBJ is being paid $4 million! in taxpayer dollars........you damn straight I want improvement.......NOW! the is the same speech any one in charge would get if that kind of pay is being handed out after 4 years......shake your head and make whatever excuses you want..........VOLNATION has bee patient for the most part.......this is suppose to be the year to show a big jump from last......don't think for a moment that discussion has not be had.......we have the players and their being coached like high school, the scheme is simple, the WRs are wide open, what the heck more does anyone need to see that this team has not improved.......if anything, they have digressed.: rock:

it's simple we lack focus and explosion cause we are not eating right. all our troubles can be traced back to allison maurer leaving the program.

Wasn't the last S&C coach criticized for all the injuries we sustained in the preseason? This preseason was pretty non-eventful but I guess we have to find something to complain about

I read a theory somewhere on VN a few years back that we disturbed Native American burial ground expanding near Ag Campus in '99 or so.
